Local food, TERRIFIC service and great view to the lake. Excellent and stunning setting, near lots of green spaces, outdoor activities and Serra da Estrela. Also, in the mountains.

I'm sorry to say there was nothing we liked about our stay except perhaps when we were leaving and the proprietor was good enough to let us use the reception internet as the guests' one was out of order! He was also very helpful with instructions to get us through the mountains to our next stop.
The Quinta appeared not to have been used for many months and was dusty, dark and uninviting. I hardly recognised it from the pictures on your website. A very great disappointment particularly after travelling so far to find it. We think the price paid for such sub-standard accommodation was too much. It could be that the accommodation is only fully operational in the high season.

It was a very wet weekend so we spent many hours in and around the hotel. The kids played, we chatted, I was able to go online, the kids swam, played billiards. I did a Easter egg treasure hunt (early) for the kids. The hours passed easily and the kids were made to feel really welcome. They brought their other friends over from another hotel whose facilities were not so good and they were made equally welcome. For families an excellent choice. Well done.
Tv's need serious up grade.

Rooms were spacious and well-equipped with a kitchenette. the beautiful grounds offered a range of activities such as a pool, tennis, and mountain bikes. the breakfast provided was excellent and the dinner at the on-site restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. the owner and staff were extremely attentive and went above and beyond to provide great service.
The indoor pool could have been better maintained, with high levels of chlorine and poor facility conditions. the restaurant service was slow and the food was not up to par compared to other dining options in the area.

Our stay at Quinta Do Crestelo Aparthotel was incredible! The apartment we stayed in was so cozy and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, like cable TV and a private bathroom with a bath and hair dryer. The living room was spacious and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Plus, the separate bedroom provided privacy and a peaceful night's sleep. We also loved that the kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, and plenty of kitchenware. the room felt like a home away from home.
Personally, I wished the bathroom had a shower instead of just a bath. But I understand that some guests might prefer a bath, so it's just a matter of personal preference.
